GROUP ART THERAPY
WHAT ARE ART THERAPY GROUPS?
Art therapy groups offer people an opportunity to discover more about themselves through art making and self expression while benefiting from being with others in a safe, supportive space. It can be a good first step if you're feeling isolated or want to develop your interpersonal skills and self confidence.
Groups are based on art therapy principles and may include a group mural, clay sculpting, mask making, creative writing and illustration. Confidentiality is a key factor in the group to allow each member to feel comfortable and safe.
Group members will be encouraged to share ideas and encourage one another and through this build self-esteem, self-confidence and a sense of satisfaction by creating something that has meaning for them.
Please get in touch if you have specific ideas or requirements.
